Lika - Operation Fund

Here in Natal we have a special friend, a German lady that has lived in Brazil for many years and naturalized Brazilian. Loretta loves animals, especially her dog Liki, who recently suffered injuries that dislocated her hips, making it impossible or extremely difficult to walk or climb the stairs to their apartment. Liki needs an operation or an extended treatment involving swimming therapy and acu-puncture. Acu-puncture for dogs is proving very successful in cases like this.

Our association is trying to raise the funds to help Lika obtain either an operation or special treatment to be able to walk again.

OBS: Some of our friends have mentioned the lack of an Animal Rescue Asssociation here in Rio Grande do Norte and have suggested that we might add this to our clubs objectives.

Some dogs just have a will to live. This is one dog that has such a strong will to live. He is adorable and you can't help but fall in love. This pooch can barely walk but the vet says with treatment he can be saved. Isn't this something?

We started a collection a couple of months ago and could only raise R$ 130.00, barely enough to pay for pain medicine but not enough to pay for the treatment.
